The nature of immigration today for employment is such that it creates a discriminatory environment for born-citizens in Western countries who are NOT Christians. There are requirements for foreign nationals if they want to live and work in America, for instance, and those requirements would include a certain income level.
The pay grade is usually above what the huge majority of Americans make, which means that while Americans have a glass ceiling that they can’t pass through to get better jobs and pay relative to others, Indians in particular generally have a glass floor that they can’t go down through. They can look down and see us, but they can’t join us. It means that Hindu workers are up there, like doctors, lawyers, engineers, IT people, etc., and those of us without the means to become one of those professions are down here.
This creates the job environment where whole industries with employees operating below the required pay grade are populated with Christians and other non-Hindūs, ESPECIALLY those who make the hiring, firing, and promotion decisions. And in America, it’s the non-Christian and/or non-Westerner who usually suffers in these decisions. I’ve been there, done that on the receiving end of those decisions.
Because a lot of Hindūs work for Western companies in higher positions, it becomes VERY DIFFICULT to find jobs in which your manager or supervisor is an Indian Hindū. I’d say just a fraction of the 3% of the population identify as INDIAN, whether it be Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, etc. You have to wonder how many of the 3% are Hindūs, AND how many have their own businesses and/or are in a position to make direct hiring, firing, and promotion decisions.
That is why, if I had to go back to America, I would refuse to work for anyone but an Indic person (with a couple of exceptions for Native American-descended person and Africans). Otherwise I would have to perform “austerities” in the form of being homeless and/or eating leaves and bark from a tree when the need arises.
